Do you believe that there are about 12 weeks left until Christmas? It seems like it's not a lot of time but really there is PLENTY of time to create your own Holiday Cards and make your own Holiday gifts. This card is my first of a new series called the "12 Weeks of Christmas". Every Friday I'll post (and email to my mailing list) a new project for Christmas.
This card features the stamp set Snow Swirled, Red Riding Hood ink and cardstock, the Snow Blossom punch. The complete list of materials used is below.
First I stamped the three sizes of snowflakes on a 4 x 5.25 piece of Whisper White cardstock in Riding hood Red ink. I then sponged the edges with the red ink and added Dazzling Diamonds to various parts of the flakes. Boy, does that look cool in person! I then attached that piece to the 5.5 x 8.5 piece of Red Riding Hood folded to be the card base. Next I stamped the Season's Greetings onto a 1 x 2.25 piece of Whisper White, sponged the edges, layered onto 1.25 x 2.5 Red Riding Hood and attached it to the card front. Lastly, I stamped the small red snowflake on white, then punched it out with the 1/2" circle punch. I layered it the Snow Blossom punched out of Red Riding Hood cardstock and attached it to the card with a dimensional. Easy!!
