Prepping for Thanksgiving

I'm not the one who has to make Thanksgiving Dinner.  I don't know if I'll ever be!  This is good news to everyone.  However, my brother-in-law living in London, makes sure that his family celebrates every year though it's just a Thursday over there.  Last year, he was in a panic about what to do, how to make a Turkey, etc.  So, for Christmas (after the fact), I asked his Mom for her recipes and created this book for him.  Well, I heard he pulled it out yesterday to start his preparations.  He'll probably still call mom in a panic but at least he has this pretty guide.  And, we have a book preserving Mom's recipes!

Big Shot Approved Materials - Updated!

The Big Shot is an AWESOME machine and for those of you who haven't seen it in action, you must try to get to one of my classes.  I've been having fun trying different materials with the machine and the BigZ dies.  Stampin' Up! just re-released the list of approved materials to better reflect crafting applications.

The following materials work well when creating die cuts with the Big Shot machine and Bigz and Originals dies. Please note the maximum thickness of several materials. As a rule of thumb, you can cut a material with your Big Shot machine and Bigz or Originals dies if you can cut it using your Craft & Paper Scissors.
