This is a question often asked so I thought I'd share with you MY way of storing my stamp sets. I have a cabinet with several shelves. My husband added more than what came with it so I could store more items. I keep my stamp sets alphabetical and store them on their sides. I do separate out Background stamps, Alphabet sets, and 'word-only' sets. This makes it easy for me to find the stamp set I'm looking for (provided that I've put it back when I'm done!)

Mine are all over the place. I only have about 14 SU sets still in their clamshell boxes. For now they are all stacked up on top of each other in my closet. My unmounted stamps are stored in a drawer waiting for me to put them into binders.
