Starting Wednesday, September 30th, my mailing list subscribers will receive a weekly project idea for holiday cards, gift items and more. Here's a special sample for my blog readers. The format of the 12 weeks will be the same - a photo of the project, a supply list and instructions how to do it. If you'd like to see more, be sure to get on my mailing list by using the sign-up box in the upper left corner of this blog page. Facebook fans can also sign up on the box to the left of the wall posts. I hope you enjoy this and join me for more to come!
Stamp Set: Snow Swirled
Cardstock: Mellow Moss, Always Artichoke, Shimmery White (or Naturals White)
Ink: Mellow Moss, Always Artichoke
Accessories: Stampin' Sponge, 2-way Glue, Dazzling Diamonds glitter
We made this card at the Stamp Out Breast Cancer event last week and it was very well received. Some even decided to make this card for their holiday cards this year! Because of its simplicity, you can create 48 cards from one set of cardstock.
Instructions:
1. Cut Mellow Moss CS in half to create card base. Always Artichoke layer is 4" by 5 1/4". White is 3 3/4" by 5".
2. Stamp large snowflake with Artichoke ink across white. Stamp greeting in lower corner.
3. Stamp smaller snowflakes with Moss ink to fill in the spaces.
4. Use sponge to brush ink along the edges of white cardstock.
5. Adhere layers together and then to card base.
6. Draw with 2-way glue pen on areas of card where you want glitter. Sprinkle glitter over glue and tap off excess.
Voila! You are finished and have a beautiful card!
PS This card is also one that will be featured at my Stamp-A-Stack of Holiday Cards on October 18th. Send me an email to register for this class.

I'm going to miss the SAS as I'll be out of town. :( Look forward to seeing the weekly updates though - I really need to get a move on with my Christmas cards now.
