Here is a card I made for a recent swap. It's not the best photo - I apologize for that. This card uses Night of Navy, Whisper White and Brushed Silver cardstock. I think adding some of our new shimmer paint would really WOW but I don't have any!
One thing I did while making these cards was to figure out a way to save on the silver cardstock since it's more costly than regular cardstock. The following photos show what I did!
Here is the 4" x 5 1/4" layer. I've used my paper trimmer to cut out the center - about 3/8" around. This gives space enough to adhere the layer and to use the inside for the JOY.
I then cut the center rectangle at about 2 1/4". Just make sure that you can fit your letters on the pieces as pictured below.
This is a great way to save your precious silver cardstock!
